I have been feeling the pinch financially! I had to add an extra $100 to my commute budget just so I can adapt. This means less eating and dining out smh. I also started parking at a mall right beside the metro just so I dont have to pay the parking fees, even though there is a threat of towing when I park there all day. But this is a risk I have to take because I cant afford to pay $4.50 a day for parking! The sad thing is that WMATA service hasnt improved!!!!

If you lost flashdrives and a cable on the Orange line today 9/13/12, it has been turned into the Lost and Found at the Vienna Metro station.

Weekend WMATA Rail trackwork and stations Closings-
Buses will replace RED LINE trains between Grosvenor and Friendship Heights
Buses will replace BLUE LINE trains at Franconia-Springfield and Van Dorn Street
ORANGE LINE trains will single track between East Falls Church and West Falls Church and between Stadium-Armory and Cheverly
GREEN LINE trains will single track between Fort Totten and Prince George's Plaza

I live in Largo but I parked in New Carrollton and took the orange line...not bad at all! Especially around 7am!

Looking forward to an enjoyable commuting year with Metro WITHOUT any disruptions in service!!! Perhaps if some Metro workers would focus on doing their jobs instead of stealing commuters coins, there would be less problems!!! LOL!!!
